REAL ESTATE DEALER DIES.

William J. Lukens, 2039 Kenmore avenue, Sheridan Park, 58 years old, died yesterday at Battle Creek sanitarium after one week of illness contracted in the Telkwa river valley, British Columbia, where he had spent several weeks inspecting a large tract of land in the interests of the Telkwa River Valley syndicate, of which he was the vice president.

He was born in Philadelphia, Pa., and for several years was employed at the Deering Harvester works. Later he engaged in the express business. For the last twenty-three years, he had been in the real estate business in Chicago.

The surviving members of his family are
his widow,
his son, William B.,
and two daughters,
Cora Lukens,
and Mrs. Gertrude Rowley.

The funeral will be held tomorrow at his late residence and interment will be at Rosehill Cemetery.
