Mrs. Catherine Kostka, 88, 2202 Wallace Ave., died at 10 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 10, 1958, in North Rockford Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Born July 25, 1870, in Germany, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Senick. Lived 55 years in Rockford, coming here from Chicago. Married to Frank Kostka in Chicag. He died in 1950. Member of St. Peter's Catholic church, American Legion auxiliary, and Gold Star Mothers.
Survivors include: two sons, Walter, Rockford, and Adolph, Loves Park; three daughters, Mrs. Roy Borst, Mrs. Lillian Liomin, and Mrs. Frances Witt, all of Rockford; eight grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Services at 9 a.m. Wednesday in Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Home, and at 9:30 a.m. in St. Peter's church, with the Rt. Rev. Msgr. William G. McMillan, pastor, officiating. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery.
