Brooklet - Warnell Olen Denmark Jr., 57, died late Tuesday night.

Mr. Denmark was a native and life long resident of Bulloch County and owner and operator of Denmark's Furniture Mart and Sleep Shop in Brooklet. He was a deacon and a member of Brooklet Baptist church and the Brooklet Kiwanis Club and had served in the U.S. Air Force.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Juanita Dowdy Denmark, Brooklet; three daughters, Miss Lynn Denmark, Augusta; Mrs. Sue D. Strickland and Miss Victoria Juanita Denmark, both of Brooklet; one son Gary Warnell Denmark, Brooklet; his mother, Mrs. Kathryn Parker Denmark, Brooklet; two sisters, Mrs. Jo Anne Keil, Baltimore, Md., and Mrs. Joyce McElveen, Brooklet; one brother, Carroll R. Denmark, Lancaster, Penn.; and two grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Brooklet First Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Howard officiating and the Rev. Rick Turner assisting.

Burial will be in the Brooklet City Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be the active deacons of the Brooklet First Baptist Church. Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Brooklet Kiwanis Club.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial may be made to the W. W. Mann Retreat Center.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4 to 9 p.m. today. Hodges Turner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
