Rosemary I. Johnson, age 80 of New Carlisle, passed away Monday May 4, 2015 in the Dayspring of Miami Valley. She was born May 2, 1935 in Rowan Co., KY, the daughter of the late Eugene and Ollie (Conley) Thomas.
Rosemary was a longtime member of the Wright View Church of the Nazarene in Fairborn. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers; three sisters; and a grandson. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Homer; two sons, Dennis (Juanita) Johnson of Greenfield, OH, Ricky (Lisa) Johnson of New Carlisle; a daughter, Karen (Anthony) Thomas of New Carlisle; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family. The family will receive friends on Friday May 8, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the Wright View Church of the Nazarene, 1612 Superior Ave., Fairborn, where a funeral service will be held on Saturday May 9, 2015 at 10:30 A.M., Rev. Vernon E. Hurles officiating.
Burial will follow at the Beaver Cemetery, Beavercreek. Arrangements in care of Belton-Stroup Funeral Home, Fairborn.
