Gerald A. Alexander, 65, of Decatur died Wednesday (Oct. 3, 1990) in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday in Dawson & Wikoff West Wood Street Funeral Home, with visitation 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Maroa Cemetery.
Mr. Alexander was born in Benton on Jan. 14, 1935, son of Archie and Hazel Sutton Alexander. He was retired department manager with Montgomery Ward and a member of First Methodist Church, Gary, W. Va. He married Irene Mee in 1947.
Surviving are his wife; daughter, Linda Giles of Decatur; step-mother, Edith Alexander of Benton; brother Archie of Decatur; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
His father, mother and one grandson preceded him in death.
