In our world today, most don't read the newspaper, Facebook has become our social media and for this reason, I have chosen to post this information.

Yesterday, Sunday May 10, 2015 at actually 9:01 PM my husband of 46 years, Frank Champ, the father of our children, April Daneil Champ, Kevin Champ, Lara Champ Mays, and grandchildren Daneille Lambrecht, Emily Hall, Joshua Trent Champ, Jake Buxton,Julia Champ, babies, Victoria and Max Champ, , Liam Mays, and two great grandchildren, Lauren and Leah Hall, went home to be with his Lord. Our family, including our loving daughter in law, Claudia Champ, son in law, Aaron Mays, and grand son in law, Josh Lambrecht, and my wonderful brother Frank Workman were here at our home with me. Frank has kept in touch with old friends on Facebook, therefore I will post on his page. Memorial information will be post soon.

Frank Ruskin Champ age 68, passed away on the night of May 10th 2015 while at home in Brandon, FL surrounded by loving family and with the comfort of Hospice care.

Frank would like to let you know that his work here is done. He received an offer you can’t refuse, for an appointment from which he will not be returning. This assignment comes with a huge sign-on bonus, a reunion with family and friends he has not seen in a long time. Job security is exactly 110 percent, and I heard his boss matches no other. His new mission takes him to a wonderful place where he will be playing basketball, riding his bike, working in his yard, spending time with his Father, and being active to his heart’s content without any pain or exhaustion. Peace, laughter, and love are guaranteed. He may even decide to finally hike the Appalachian Trail while on his journey. He left detailed instructions for his wife and family to celebrate his mission here, which has now been completed, and to remember his love for his family. He was able to successfully complete his mission, because he knew and lived by the manual, The Bible, and urges you to do the same.

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7

Frank was born in Pikeville, KY, and was the son of Letcher and Beulah Champ. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Peggy Hedrick.

He leaves his loving memories to be cherished by his wife of 46 years, Victoria K Workman Champ. He was loved by his 3 children: daughter, April Champ; son, Kevin Champ and wife, Claudia; and daughter, Lara Mays and husband, Aaron. He was the best “Pawpaw” to Daneille Lambrecht, Emily Hall, Joshua Champ, Jacob Champ Buxton, Julia Champ, Victoria Champ Jr., Liam Mays, and Maxwell Champ; and great-grandfather to Lauren and Leah Hall. He loved and was survived by his sister, Janet Pendergrass of Charleston, WV; brother, Jack Champ of Beckley, WV; and several nieces and nephews.

The memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2015, at 11am at Bay Area Church of Christ, 3905 Orange Street, Mango, FL. The service will be followed by light refreshments.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Bay Area Church of Christ's pantry at 3905 Orange Street, Mango, FL 33550, or to LifePath Hospice at 12470 Telecom Drive, Suite 300 West, Temple Terrace, FL 33637 (Please specify LifePath Hospice, and in memory of Frank Champ; online donations at http://www.chaptershealth.org/giving/Donate-Now).
