Jack was the son of Dorothy "Nannie" Neeley and Clyde Boling. He married Ola Frances Humphries on December 8, 1945. Jack joined the Navy at the beginning of World War II; he was only fourteen. He left the Navy in 1945 and married. He graduated from Alexandria High School and then returned to the Navy; he retired in 1964. Jack went to work for Monsanto and retired from there. He was Sunday School Superintendent at United Fellowship Baptist Church in Alexandria. Jack and Frances had one daughter and three sons; three grandsons and three granddaughters; and one great-granddaughter (who preceded him in death by less than one month). His grandchildren called him Papa Jack. We love you, Papa!
