Mrs. Helen Delene Watkins Baty, 83, of North Little Rock died Sunday, June 11, 2006, at her residence in Crossett. A native and former resident of Hamburg, a resident of Crossett for the past year and a resident of North Little Rock for 38 years, she was a homemaker, a member of the Parkhill Baptist Church in Little Rock and a former member of the First Baptist Church in Hamburg. She was a member of the Calamity Bells in Little Rock.

She is survived by a son, Alonzo Mike Vought and wife Lynn of Crossett; three grandchildren, Michael Vought and Julie Vought, both of Crossett, and Jonathan Vought and wife Shonte of Little Rock; three great-grandchildren, Caden Vought, Karlee Cessor, and Madison Vought and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Vernon Edgington & Royce Baty; her parents, Marcus & Margaret Barham Watkins; two brothers, Travis & Billy Mark Watkins; and two sisters, Dell Sanders & Lois Redmon.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 14, in the chapel of Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home in Hamburg with Revs. Roy Grantham & R.V. White officiating. Burial will be in the Hamburg Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Mia Rose Hollis Memorial Garden, Attn: Cheryl, PO Box 400, Crossett, AR 71635.
