Dorothy M. Werth, age 83, of Two Rivers, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers.
Dorothy was born May 26, 1933 in Wabeno, WI, daughter of the late Adolph and Laura (Schimmel) Kopetsky. She graduated from Laona High School with the class of 1951. On June 5, 1954 she married Harvey D. Werth in Newald, WI. He preceded her in death on September 30, 2001. Dorothy had worked for Hamilton's in the Stenographic Department before her marriage. She was a member of the Girl Scouts and the V.F.W. Auxiliary.
Survivors include her children: Don Werth, Two Rivers; Sandy Werth, Two Rivers; Judy Waters, Dallas, TX; four grandchildren: Brian, Nicholas & Michael (Fiancee Caitlyn Roeder) Werth and Krystal Waters; one great grandson: Orion Werth; one sister-in-law: Vi Werth, Menasha; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Dorothy was preceded in death by 1 sister & brother-in-law Beatrice and Ray Bonesteel; 3 brothers & a sister-in-law: Harold, Marvin and Howard (Lucy) Borden; mother-in-law and father-in-law: Ella & Paul Werth; and four brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law: James Werth, Russell & Betty Werth, Robert Werth and Irene & Lloyd Godin.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at the Klein & Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. David Arndt with entombment to take place at Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum, town of Kossuth following services.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Monday, January 2, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at 10:30 a.m.
