Georgiana was born April 21, 1939, in Manitowoc to parents George and Blanche Scherasky. She had two sisters, Jeanette & Betty. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School in Manitowoc with the class of 1957. On November 5, 1960, she married Gene Anton Klein at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Homemaker and mother of six children, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends, camping, watching gameshows, and an occasional trip to a casino. Georgiana and Gene were avid Packers fans.
Georgiana is survived by her six children and their spouses: Brenda & Paul Shedivy, Lynne & Louie Carstens, Jean & Dave Kollath, Dennis & Tanya Klein, Dale & Tina Klein, and Dean Klein. Also, she leaves behind 12 grandchildren: Sister and brother-in-law Jeanette & Richard Van Engen, and brother-in-law Lee Galien. She was preceded in death by her beloved sister Betty Galien.
Following Georgiana's wishes, she was cremated and will laid to rest with her husband Gene at Knollwood Cemetery, 1500 WI-310, Manitowoc. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date, yet to be determined. Her family would like to thank Sharon Richardson Hospice and their staff for their help during her later moments of life, as well as her friends and family that helped comfort her during her final days.
