Frederick C. Bahler, 80, Wabash, died of natural causes Sunday, Sept. 28, 1980, at h is ho me.

Born in Madison, he had lived in Wabash for 76 years and was a retired accountant. He was a member of St. Matthew's United Church of Christ, Wabash, the Wabash Elks and American Legion. He was a World War I veteran.

Surviving are his wife, Annabelle; two stepsons, Jack Thompson, Cary, Ill., and Dennis Miller of Peru; one stepdaughter, Judith Wolff, Topeka, Kan., and six stepgrandchildren.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Eddingfield Mortuary, Wabash, the Rev. Charles Francis officiating. Burial will be in the Falls Cemetery, Wabash. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
