Mr. Harlow was born in Fall River Township on May 16, 1919, the son of William and Daisy (Titzall) Harlow. He married Josephine "Teeny" Giacomini at St. Mary's Church in Naplate on August 30, 1950. Mrs. Harlow died on September 26, 1990.
Mr. Harlow served in the U.S. Army during World War II with the 129th Infantry Company C and was awarded the Silver Star. He was a member of American Legion Post 33. He was retired from Libby-Owens-Ford after 45 years of employment.
He is survived by a son, Gary (Ann) Harlow of Ottawa; by a daughter, Nancy Hudkins of Oswego; by four grandchildren, Trevor Harlow, Tanya Thompson, Paul Hudkins, and Brent Hudkins; by sever great-grandchildren; by a brother, Elmer (Ruth) Harlow of Kinsman; and by a sister, Katherine Abbey of Streator.
A sister, Margie Strickland, died previously.
