She was a member of St. Mary Church and a past member of the Altar and Rosary Society. Her interests included family gatherings with lots of home cooked Italian meals, baking, growing vegetables, herbs and flowers in her garden, reading, crossword puzzles, bingo and playing the piano.
Carmella is survived by a daughter, Letitia Muro of Fort Wayne; sons, Leonard of Painesville, Raymond of Oberlin and Richard of Elyria; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Louis in 1999; parents, Carmine and Angelina (nee Leonardo) Cervo; sisters, Sarah, Frances, Emily, Joanne, Clara, Lucy, Eleanor and Adelaide and brothers, Paul, Richard, Joseph and Salvadore.
Friends will be received Saturday, February 28, 2015 from 9:45 to 10:45 A.M. at Dicken Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue, Elyria. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday at 11 A.M., at St. Mary Church, 320 Middle Avenue, Elyria. Reverend Father Charles T. Diedrick will be the Celebrant. Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
