Ruth P. Ball, 82, a homemaker, died Saturday, May 20, 2006. Mrs. Ball was born in John son County, GA. She was a longtime resident of Melbourne, coming to Brevard County in 1961 on her husbands retire ment from the Navy. She moved to Georgia to be with her family in her last illness. She is survived by her sister, Waynelle Dobson of Eatonton, GA and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Ball was preceded in death by her husband, Donald. A Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 24th, in the Brownlie Maxwell Chapel, with visitation one hour before the service. Serv ices will be followed by burial in the Melbourne Cemetery beside her husband.
