Jackie Dean Spurgin, 70, died Saturday, June 10, 2006 at his resi dence. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri and came to Brevard County in 2000. Mr. Spurgin was a Gunnery Sergeant with the United States Marine Corps with over 20 years of services. He is survived by his wife, Patricia; children, Gerald, Mark, Terry Elliott, Donna Arpin, and David Sweeting; and eight grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., Friday, June 16, 2006 at Beach Funeral Home West Chapel Melbourne/ Suntree. Funeral services will immedi ately follow at 11 a.m., at the fu neral home with military honors. Interment will be at 1 p.m., Mon day, June 19, 2006 in Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
