Mingo Briones, age 79, of Poteet, passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2012, in Pleasanton. Mingo was born March 26, 1933 in Poteet.
Mr. Briones is survived by his siblings: Epimenia Trevino of Poteet, Rafela Gonzales of Michigan and Alex Martinez of Poteet as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents Manuel and Juanita (Hernandez) Briones; three brothers and three sisters.
Visitation was held at Hurley Funeral Home in Pleasanton from 2 – 9 p.m., with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 5, 2012. Funeral service was at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church in Poteet at 10 a.m., Friday, April 6, 2012. Interment followed at Madre Dolorosa Cemetery in Poteet.
