MarJean E. Christus, age 54, of Sheboygan, died Saturday morning, June 17, 2006, at St. Nicholas Hospital.Born in Osman on August 14, 1951, MarJean was a daughter of the late Emmet and Armella (Herr) Sullivan. She attended and graduated from St. Isidore Catholic School in Osman, and was a 1969 graduate of Kiel High School. MarJean also attended Lakeshore Technical College earning an Associate of Arts degree in Marketing.On St. Valentine's Day, February 14, 1997, MarJean was united in marriage to Dennis C. Christus in Las Vegas, Nevada.For the past twenty-eight years, MarJean had been employed as a Laboratory Technician at Thomas Industries in Sheboygan. She was a member of Ebenezer United Church of Christ, and enjoyed traveling, going on cruises, scrapbooking, organizing family events, and spending time with her grandchildren.MarJean is survived by her husband, Dennis; two daughters, Marca (Bob) Kreger of Allentown, PA, and Kara (Mike) Retlick of Oshkosh; three grandchildren; Logan Kreger, Elena Kreger, and Conner Retlick; two sisters, Marion (Leo) Hartman of Osman, and Margaret (James) Casper of Muskego; two step-sons, Steven Christus of Sheboygan and Brian Christus of Lac du Flambeau; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Lynn (Kenneth) Allen of Sheboygan Falls, Mary Hartmann of Webster, Jim (Barbara) Christus of Pewaukee, and Randy (Cindy) Christus of Sheboygan. She is also survived by her former husband, Steven Buttner of Howards Grove; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and coworkers from Thomas Industries.
