Fuchsia Fern Holbrook Cornia was born in Bountiful, Utah on December 16, 1893 the daughter of William Jones and Polly Burningham Holbrook.

Fuchsia went to LDS High School. She graduated from the University of Utah. She came to Woodruff in 1912 to teach school. She taught for one year. It was while in Woodruff that she met her future husband Osro Lewis Cornia. They were married in the Salt Lake Temple on January 7, 1915.

Osro and Fushcia had nine children. The boys are Cal, Dale, Don, Gene, Jerry and Ross. The girls are Louise, Bessie and Grace.

Fuchsia served in the presidency of the Primary and as a teacher in religion class. She was also secretary of the Relief Society.

Fuchsia passed away on July 5, 1981 in Ogden, Utah.
