Alfred T. Casto and his first wife, Mary Kay, joined the Baptist Mid-Missions as missionaries to Mexico in 1960, when they were newlyweds.
After moving to Cleveland in 1968, Mr. Casto worked as an accountant for the Baptist Mid-Missions headquarters.
Mr. Casto, 66, of Brook Park, died of complications from pneumonia Friday at Fairview General Hospital.
He was born in Atlantic City, N.J., and had lived in Cleveland since 1968. He graduated from Houghton (N.Y.) College and Faith Seminary in Philadelphia.
Mr. Casto's first wife died in 1984. In 1985, he married the former Sharon Gardner.
Besides his wife, survivors include his daughter, Linda Lloyd of Dalton, Pa.; and two brothers.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Mid-Brook Baptist Church, 18664 Sheldon Rd., Brook Park. Zeis-McGreevey Funeral Home in Lakewood is handling arrangements.
