P.F.C. Jesus A. Najera, 19 yrs. of Buckeye, AZ.
PFC Najera was born in Phoenix to parents Pedro & Antonia Najera on May 17, 1987.
He had attended Palo Verde Elementary School and had later graduated from Buckeye Union High School in 2005. He then joined the U.S. Army where he was stationed in Korea.
He was involved in a training accident last Saturday in which he lost his life.
His group was hit by lightning & several others were injured. He is survived by his parents Pedro & Antonia Najera, sister Nobia & brother Gerardo.
There will be a rosary recited on Tues. evening at 7:00 p.m. at St. Henry Catholic Church in Buckeye. The Funeral Mass will be Wed. June 21st at 10:00 am. at the church located at 128 S. 3rd St in Buckeye.
Interment with military honors will be held at the Louis B. Hazelton Mem. Park. 23000 W. Broadway Rd in Buckeye.
