Born March 14, 1917, in Rockford, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Higgins. Married to Moe Clankie in Rockford, Feb. 28, 1943. Employed as a trucker. Member of Free Methodist Church.
Survivors include: his widow; three sons, Donald, Ronald and Gary, all at home; six daughters, Vivian, Sharon, Diane, Karen, Jean and Jane, all at home; two brothers, Baxter and Charlie, both of Rockford; two step-brothers, George Vogel, McGregor, Iowa, and George Lanning, Rockford.
Services at 2:30 p.m. Monday in Julian-Poorman Funeral Home. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery.
