Rauschenberger, Glen A.

Glen A. Rauschenberger, age 100, of 1700 South 18th Street, Manitowoc, passed away peacefully Friday night, May 15, 2015 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Glen was born on July 19, 1914 in Genoa, IL, son of the late Ernest and Grace (Fischbach) Rauschenberger. On July 20, 1946 Glen married the former Kathryn V. Williams in Minneapolis, MN. She preceded him in death on November 18, 2004.

Glen worked as a tool and die maker for Winton Engineering in Carol Stream, IL retiring in 1979. He was a member of Lakeshore United Methodist Church. Glen enjoyed the outdoors.

Survivors include 2 sons: Robert G. (Margaret) Rauschenberger, Homer, IL; Dr. Thomas R. (Judith) Rauschenberger, Manitowoc; 5 grandchildren: Rebekah Rauschenberger, Homer, IL; Timothy Rauschenberger, Boston, MA; Sarah Rauschenberger, Minneapolis, MN; Kevin (Heather) Rauschenberger, Milton; Kristi (Mitchel) Shephard, Stoughton; 7great grandchildren: Alyssa and Emily Rauschenberger; Colton, Jakob and Kaylyn Rauschenberger; Charlotte and Annabelle Shephard; 1 brother: Gordon Rauschenberger, St. Charles, IL, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Ernest and Grace Rauschenberger; his wife: Kathryn V. Rauschenberger; 2 brothers: Ernest Rauschenberger Jr.; Russell Rauschenberger; 1 sister: Mary Rauschenberger.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at Lakeshore Methodist United Methodist Church, 411 Reed Avenue, Manitowoc. The Rev. Thomas Dunham will officiate. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m.

The Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home of Manitowoc is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
