Alma (Aaron) Sexton
Alma Trellie Aaron Sexton, age 78, died November 12, 2012 surrounded by her loving family and friends at Grand Traverse Pavilions in Traverse City, MI.
Born in Athens on April 29, 1934, daughter of the late Upson and Beulah (Bone) Aaron. She worked at Comer Manufacturing in Comer and Greenfield Farms Adult Foster Care in Traverse City, MI. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Sexton; daughter, Connie Sexton; brother, Andrew Aaron; and sisters, Annie Hardigree, Irene Thomas, Julie Seay, and Jeanette Hayes.
Survivors include: two sons, David (Deb) Sexton and children, Benjamin, Daniel, and Tyler of Traverse City, MI, Dane (Carol) Sexton and children, Ian and Orry of Delevan, NY; three brothers, Uveal (Dot) Aaron of Athens, Chandler Aaron of Statham, Thomas Aaron of Winder; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service was held November 14 for family and friends in Traverse City, MI. A graveside service will be held for family and friends at Calvary Baptist Church in Statham on Tuesday, March 26 at 11 a.m. followed by a luncheon at New Calvary Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.
