Kathleen Webster was born in Mount Zion, Kentucky, on February 26, 1922, and passed away on May 15, 2015, at the age of 93. She was the daughter of the late Roy and Cornelia Green Lawrence. Kathleen was a member of Knoxville Baptist Church, where she served as a Sunday school teacher and Bible school teacher.

 

On October 17, 1942, Kathleen was united in marriage to Clifton R. Webster, who preceded her in death on March 14, 2013. From this union, three children were born: Ricky D. Webster, of Erlanger, Lawrence C. (Debbie) Webster, of York, Pennsylvania, and Katsia (Charles) Baird, of Dry Ridge. In addition to her loving children, she is survived by: a brother, Paul Lawrence, of Sparta, a sister, Eunice Spegal, of Mount Zion; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: a brother, John Lawrence; and two sisters, Janice Jump and Jeanette Sue Lawrence.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, 132 South Main Street, Crittenden, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at New Bethel Cemetery, in Verona, Kentucky. Memorials may be made to New Bethel Cemetery, P.O. Box 67, Verona, Kentucky 41092.
