ANDERSON SC - Jim E. Freeman, age 83, passed away on May 16, 2015 at Richard M. Campbell Veterans Nursing Home. Born in Jefferson GA on July 2, 1931, Mr. Freeman was the son of the late John Henry Freeman and Ollie Ashe Freeman. He was a United States Army Veteran and was the owner of Jim’s Beauty Supply, established in 1962. He was a former employee of Owens Corning Fiberglas. Survivors include a son, Neil Freeman; daughter, Debra Freeman Bridges; sister, Rozena Freeman McCurley; nine grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by son, Steve Freeman; five brothers and 9 sisters. Committal, with military honors at M. J. “Dolly” Cooper Veterans Cemetery. The McDougald Funeral Home.
