Mildred A. (Faircloth) Dugan Malatt, 67, of Martinsburg, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 16, 2015 at Berkeley Medical Center in Martinsburg

She was born to the late Guy W. Faircloth and Virgie Hite Faircloth of Gerrardstown.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a homemaker for the past 23 years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles A. (Buddy) Dugan, Jr.; one brother, Junior W. Faircloth, Sr.; and three sisters, Vallie Donivan, Linda Lou Sine, and Lena Leonard.

She is survived by her husband, Melvin L. Malatt; two daughters, Marcia A. (Dugan) Long and husband, Ronnie, Tina M. (Dugan) Witt; one son, Charles W. (Chuckie) Dugan and wife, Susan; one brother, Charles W. Faircloth; ten grandchildren, Melissa Long, Ronnie Long, Stacy Long, Bobby Long, David Witt, Andrew Witt, Anna Moricle, Chuckie Dugan, Jessie Dugan, and Billy Feimster; fifteen great-grandchildren; and a close family friend, Kathy Mull.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 from 6:00PM to 9:00PM at Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at 10:00AM at the funeral chapel with Pastor Johnny Faircloth and Pastor Bruce Singhas officiating. Active bearers are Chuckie Dugan, Bobby Long, Ron Long Jr., Andrew Witt, Chris Shoemaker and Roy Malatt. Honorary bearers are Cliff Richard, Alfred Sine and Randy Scott Faircloth. Interment will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.
