ELVA IRENE AYLOR

Elva Irene Aylor, 89, of Plattsmouth, Neb., died Tuesday, Feb. 17, 1998 at the Plattsmouth Manor in Plattsmouth, Neb.
Mrs. Aylor was born May 22, in Elk Neb., to Harvey David and Cora Magdeline (Alderman) Epley. She married Roy Alvah Aylor on June 3, 1931 in Filley, Neb.
She was and raised in Elk Creek, Neb. She taught school in Tecumseh, Neb. before her marriage. After marrying Roy, they to Table Rock, Neb. in 1931. In 1942, they moved to Plattsmouth, Neb., where she
worked at the Sewing Center, the Assessors Office; and then Knorr's Store from 1955 to 1967; she had worked at the Plattsmouth Manor three years. She had given over 3000 hours of volunteer work at the V. A. Hospital in Omaha, Neb. Mrs. Aylor was an avid quilter, making over 400 quilts in her lifetime.
Mrs. Aylor was a homemaker, mother, and Cub Scout Den Mother. She was a Member of the First Presbyterian Church in Plattsmouth, Neb.; the Rebekah Lodge #40 of Plattsmouth, Neb., VFW Auxiliary; Navy Mothers; Cass County Cut Ups, Stitch and Chatter Club. Royal Neighbors and Fagle Auxiliary.
Survivors are her sons, daughters-in-law, Charles and Shelia Aylor, Omaha, Vernon Aylor, Murray, Kenneth and Joan Aylor, Beaver Lake; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brothers, LeRoy Epley, International Falls, Minn., Dale Epley, Conway, Ark., Robert Epley and Donald Epley, both of Tecumseh, Neb.; sisters, Ruth Rademacher, La Grande, Ore., Erma McCoy, Omaha, and Beatrice Schank, Beatrice, Neb. Mrs. Aylor was preceded in by ber brothers, Ray, Elmer, John, Charles, Wilbur, Glenn, Dean, Harvey, Jr., and William Epley; sister, Dorothy
Kimmel; and her hustand, Roy.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, 1998 at the First Presbyterian Church in Plattsmouth, Neb. The Rev. Dan Molyneux will the service. Burial will at Oak Hill Cemetery in Plattsmouth, Neb.
Rebekah Memorial Service will held at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20, 1998 at Roby Funeral Home in Plattsmouth, Neb.
Visitation will from 1-9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20, 1998 at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Jim Epley, Bruce McCoy, Eldon Epley, Don Aylor, Boyd Epley, and Ronald Epley.
Honorary pallbearers are Glen Epley, John Epley, Dick McCortney, Bill O'Keefe, Alan Aylor, Ervin Epley.
Family suggests memorials to donor's choice; the Cancer Scriety, or First Presbyterian Church
Organist will be Carol Wehrbein. Vocalist will Karen Morehead.
