Mrs. Hazelton was a member of First United Presbyterian Church, Alpha Chapter of Psi Iota Xi Sorority, and Art Students League. She was past president and formerly a director of Psi Iota Xi Day Nursery, and a former director of Ball Memorial Hospital and Delaware Country Club. She was one of the leading participants in the capital fund drive of United Way in 1973-74.
Surviving besides her husband are two daughters, Mrs. Jeffrey (Janice) Dobbs, Indianapolis, and Julie Hazelton, a student at the University of Vermont; two brothers, Marshall E. Hanley, Muncie, and Francis A. Hanley, Ocala, Fla.; her grandson, Bryan Patrick Dobbs, and her father-in-law, John F. Hazelton Sr., Wilmette, Ill.
Her son, John Hanley Hazelton, died in 1973.
Memorial services will be held at Meeks Mortuary at 11:30 a.m. Monday with Dr. Laurence A. Martin, pastor of First United Presbyterian church, officiating. Private entombment services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Elm Ridge Mausoleum. There will be no calling hours. Memorials may be sent to Ball Memorial Hospital.
