Obituary: The Hartford Courant 10 Aug 1910. Mrs. Abbie L. Preston (Abigail Louise Green), aged 86 years, widow of (Dr.) Henry C. Green died in South Windsor (Conn.) yesterday (9 Aug) morning at the home of her niece, Dr. Mary S. Tudor, of old age. Born in New London (Conn.), the daughter of Samuel Green and Mary (Starr) Green of that place. The late Commodore Charles G. Green of South Windsor was a brother, and the late Mrs. David J. Toudor , mother of Mrs. Mry B. Tudor, was a sister. She is survived by four sons, Dr. Henry G. Preston of Brooklyn, N. Y., William C. Preston of Troy, N. Y., Dr. Edward A. Preston of St. John's, N.B. (New Brunswick, Canada), and Alberrt M. Preston of Providence, R.I., and one daughter Miss Annie L. Preston of Providence, R.I. The funeral services will be held at St. John;s Church, East Hartford, tommorrow (11 Aug) afternoon at 1 o'clock. Rev. James N. Lord and Rev. William M. Chapin of Barrington, R.I.will officiate.
