Joyce Jean O'Connor of Chehalis died July 10, 2010 following a brief illness. She was born in Tenino, WA on March 11, 1929 to Ray and Bertha Hazelrigg. She was 81 years old.
At the age of 16, Joyce graduated from Onalaska High School. She married Charles Rex O'Connor on June 30, 1951. The couple lived happily together in Chehalis until Rex's passing on June 11, 1986.
Joyce is survived by her daughters, Brenda O'Connor of Centralia and Rexanne O'Connor-Just, her son in law, Joseph Just and her granddaughter, Miranda Just all of Steilacoom as well as many loving extended family members and friends.
Joyce was a devoted mother, "Grammy" and homemaker. There was always food on the table and nothing out of place in her beautiful home. She spent the time necessary to have a lovely garden and always had fresh flowers around the home. Joyce was a 56 year member of the Hillside Garden Circle.
