Wanda Stafford Hayden Apr. 20, 1929 - May 13, 2015 MISHAWAKA - On May 13, 2015, Wanda Stafford Hayden, 86, of Viera, FL, passed away at home surrounded by loved ones. She was born in MIshawaka, IN on April 20, 1929 and spent her life in the Mishawaka area until 1985 when she and her loving husband retired to FL. She was well loved at both Bonnie Doon and The Covey where she served friends and family for years in the downtown Mishawaka area. The children would call her 'grandma' because they loved her so much. Everyone enjoyed her warm smiles. Her devoted husband of 69 years, George F. Hayden Sr. preceded her in death along with a son (David Hayden), Great Grandson (David Wood) and a granddaughter (Tricia); her parents, Ora and Ida Stafford; brothers Ford Stafford, Chester Stafford, Archie Stafford, Leo Stafford, and John Stafford and sisters Marie DeWitte and Nita Abraham. Surviving are her children Carol (Geoffrey) Dingler of Saint Joseph, MI, Diana Herring of Sevierville, TN, Janice (David) Selke of Melbourne, FL, Rosemary Hochreiter of Cocoa, FL, George (Cheryl) Hayden Jr. of Elkhart, IN and John Hayden of Mishawaka, IN; 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild and one loving sister, Laura Louise Praklet of Mishawaka, IN and many nieces and nephews. A "Celebration of Life" will be at a date yet to be determined. Beckman-Williamson Funeral Home in Viera, FL is in charge of arrangements and a guestbook is available at their website. -
