WINTERS - Mrs. Alice VanWoert-Winters, aged 89, passed away late Thursday afternoon at the home of her son, Edward B. VanWoert, in Battle Creek. Surviving besides her son Edward is one brother, James W. Winters of Grand Rapids. Funeral services will be held at the Rest Lawn chapel in Grand Rapids Saturday at 2:30 p.m., Rev. Raymond Cox, pastor of the Free Methodist church of Kalamazoo, officiating. Mrs. Winters will repose at the Farley Funeral Home at Battle Creek until Saturday afternoon.
