Mrs. Baughman was a 1966 graduate of Frederick High School in Frederick. For 14 years, she successfully owned and operated BHB Creative Cabling in Frederick. She was also a founding member of St. Mark's Apostolic Church, where she was an active member of the board of trustees.
Besides her mother and husband, she is survived by two daughters, Carol Christine Ambush of Silver Spring, and Teresa Yvette Ambush of Frederick; two step-children, Kelly Ann Baughman and Jeremy Alan Baughman of Mount Airy; six grandchildren, Tynishia, Nykeia, Isaih, Amber, Zion and Nija; three brothers, Bishop Ernest Ambush and wife Ruth of Catonsville, Elder Roy Ambush and his wife Jessie of Martinsburg, W.Va., and Clarence Ambush of Frederick; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Harris of Hagerstown, Mrs. Ethel Ambush and Austine Ambush of Frederick, and Lily Jenkins and husband William Jenkins of Frederick; three aunts, Mrs. Roxie Weedon of York, Pa. Mrs. Bessie Hollerman and husband Gene Hollerman of Washington, D.C., Mrs. Emma Parker and husband Cornelius Parker of Jersey City, N.J.; one goddaughter, Kimberly Ann Harris of Frederick; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by one brother, John Ambush.
Friends may call on Thursday evening from 7-9 p.m. at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, Md. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 8 at Thomas Tabernacle Holiness Church, 517 S. Market St., Frederick, Md. Interment will be at St. Mark Cemetery in Petersville.
