Following a long illness Mrs. Bettie Renfro, widow of the late J. R. Renfro, died early Tuesday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. M. C. Cooke, Sr. she was 81 years of age and had resided in Luxora for the past 25 years.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Luxora Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. James T. Randle, pastor. He was assisted by Rev. L. P. Fleming, pastor of the Baptist Church. Burial was in Calhoun Cemetery.
She leaves two daughters, Mrs. M. C. Cooke and Mrs. Charles Mifflin of Luxora; two sons, C. E. Renfro of Memphis and W. H. Renfro of Roseclaire, Ill.
