Psalms 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Olida, a loving mother and a special granny to everyone earned her wings on May 19, 2015 at the age of 85. She was also known by family and friends as Granny, Aunt Tang and Tammy. She never met a stranger and had to speak to everyone. Her favorite things in life were family, old gospel songs and pets. She was a retired bridge operator at the Grosse Tete Bridge for 15 years and a resident of Port Allen. Granny is survived by her children Betty Bolyer Cannella, Janette Bolyer Watford and husband Lloyd, Jr., Billy Bolyer and wife Linda Heathcock Bolyer, Katherine Bolyer Smith and Larry LeJeune, Sr and wife Becky Haase LeJeune; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; sister Helen Coupel and she was also loved by a very large and close family. Preceded in death by parents John Wesley and Olida Desoto Collins, husbands L.V. Bolyer, Daniel LeJeune, Sr. and Harris Wisdom and seven siblings. Her life will be honored at First Baptist Church of Addis, 6781 Hwy 1 South, on Friday, May 22 from 5pm until 9pm and again on Saturday, May 23 from 9am until services at 11am conducted by Rev. Ben Harris. Final resting place will be at Grace Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
