Mark H. Lutz
Mark H. Lutz Age 91, of Minerva, died Thursday, July 16, 2015 in Canterbury Villa in Alliance.
He was born in Canton to Earnest and Dallas (Cobb) Lutz. He was a mechanical engineer for Diebold and former owner of Mark's Dairy Bar in Minerva. He is a US Navy and Merchant Marine veteran, past president of the Minerva Athletic Booster Club. He was an avid fisherman and artist.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Grace “Betty” (Colopy) Lutz who died in 2013, son, Tom Lutz and two brothers, Earnest Lutz Jr., and Thomas Lutz. He is survived by a daughter, Dallas (Michael) Hoebeke of Alliance, two sons, Mark “Butch” Lutz of Columbus, Earnest Lutz of Columbus, daughter-in-law, Darlene Lutz of Minerva, three sisters, Rosemary (LeRoy) Vandegrift of Canton, Patricia Miller of Minerva, Malinda (Richard) Phillips of Kensington, two brothers, Dallas (Heidi) Lutz of Fla. and Otis (Linda) Lutz of Fla., four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Monday at 1 p.m. in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Rev. Harley Wheeler officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to services.
