Debra L. McKinley, 61, Kokomo, passed away at 3:35 a.m. Wednesday May 20, 2015, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. Debra was born to Robert L. and Pauline L. (Swingle) Feller on July 2, 1953 in Peru.
Debra was a 1972 graduate of Maconaquah High School. She was a former 4-H leader for the Pipe Creek Clodbusters 4-H Club. Debra retired from Chrysler in Kokomo after over 30 years of service and was a member of the United Auto Workers. She enjoyed traveling, making ceramics, creating stained glass, baking, and painting various landscapes and portraits. Debra was also a longtime advocate and supporter of Native American school children and schools.
Debra is survived by her mother, Pauline Feller; one daughter, Kay Jenkins; one brother, Stephen (Lanell) Feller; two grandchildren, Natalie Jenkins and Nathan Jenkins; one brother-in-law, Estel Moore; one sister-in-law, Kelly Feller, four nephews, Matthew (Andrea) Feller, Brandt Murphy, William Feller, and Joshua Feller; two nieces Linzie Feller and Erin Feller, and several great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Feller; one son, Robert McKinley; one sister, Roberta Moore, and one brother, Douglas Feller.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Allen Funeral Home in Bunker Hill, Indiana. Friends may call from 4 - 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 27, 2015, with funeral services at the funeral home on Thursday, May 28, 2015, at 10 a.m. with burial to follow at Rankin Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, love offerings can be made to Allen Funeral Home.
