In 1790 he removed to Johnson, Vermont, and two years later he settled in Hyde Park, Vermont. He was a farmer all his active life. He married Hannah Cheney at Johnson, VT 25 Feb 1790, who was born in 1778 and died in 1849. Children: John, Lorenzo, Russell Smith, mentioned below; Betsey C. and Evelyn.
