Corporal Riley E. Baker, a Marine from Eureka, Missouri, was killed in Iraq on June 22nd from an explosive device. He was killed in the Al Anbar Province. He was a member of the 3rd Battalion of the 8th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force out of Camp LeJeune, NC. This was his second tour of duty in Iraq.
He was born November 14, 1983 in Fairfax, Virginia.
Riley served in the United States Marine Corps as a Scout Sniper and Team Leader in the War On Terrorism / Operation Iraqi Freedom.
He was a 2002 graduate of Eureka High School where he was the school's first Missouri State high school wrestling champion. He also was a honorable mention All-Metro linebacker for the Eureka Wildcats football team.
He was a member of the Most Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Riley enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends.

Alex Anderson officiating. Interment will follow in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery with full military honors under the auspices of the United States Marine Corps.
