He was born September 26, 1931, in Cameron, WV, a son of Thomas P. and Viola (Matthews) Bradley.
A lifetime area resident, Mr. Bradley was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in the Korean War. He was employed as a steam engineer for Republic Steel in Warren, retiring after 36 years of service. He was a former member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Kinsman; a member and past commander of the Harry Lees Post #506 American Legion in Kinsman; and a member of the Moose Lodge in Cortland. He also served on the Kinsman Volunteer Fire Department for 20 years. Mr. Bradley was an avid fisherman; and he enjoyed hunting and reading Westerns.
Mr. Bradley is survived by his wife, Margaret L. "Peggy" (Notman) Bradley, whom he married October 8, 1955, of Mecca township,OH; a son, Tom (Gayle) Bradley of Cortland,OH; a daughter, Debbie (Jim) Beil of Johnston township,OH; a daughter, Diane (Dondi) Fitch of Williamsfield, OH; a son, Mike (Kim) Bradley of Champion, OH; 13 Grandchildren, Tommy, Amelia, Wayne, Stephanie, Jamie, Victoria, Kayla, Steven, Alexander, Gino, Kayla, Rachelle, and Paige; 7 Great Grandchildren; his two brothers, Larry Bradley of Cortland,OH, and Pete Bradley of Kinsman,OH; and his five sisters, Grace Draa of Vernon township,OH, Pat Byerly of Butler, PA, Mary Mazakas of Berlin, NJ, Viola Wicks of Las Vegas, NV, and Connie Switzer of Andover, OH. He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Robert Bradley; and one sister, Kathryn Johnson.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2015, at 9:00 AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 6397 St. Rt. 87, Kinsman, OH, with Rev. Thomas Bishop officiating. Burial will follow in Pineview Memorial Park in Warren, OH, where full military honors will be held.
