Kenton Watts Casad passed away Sunday, August 10, 2014 at the Overland Park Regional Medical Center in Overland Park, KS at the age of 92. He was born July 17, 1922 in Rooks County, KS to Russell and Ethal (Watts) Casad. He graduated from Woodston High School with the Class of 1940 and Fort Hays State College in 1944.

He was a United States Navy Veteran of World War II and was an officer on the USS Logan.

He married Beatrice Haislip on August 27, 1948 in Richmond, VA.

They moved to the farm East of Stockton in 1950 where they made their home for 55 years. Kenton was a farmer and rancher. In 1992 they moved to Hays, KS and in 2006 moved to Kansas City to retire.
