Johnnie Vance Robertson went home to be with the Lord on May 22, 2015, at the age of 89. He was a devoted volunteer at Children's Hospital for the past 10 years, and a member of Dawson Memorial Baptist Church where he acted as a greeter. He was in the US Navy and retired from the US Department of Energy. He was preceded in death by his wife Ruth and his parents Louis T. Robertson and Leiter Williams Robertson, his brother Thomas Robertson, sisters Elizabeth Johnson and Doris Ferguson.
Johnnie was pawpaw to a very special girl he met while volunteering at Children's Hospital. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 26, 2015 from 1:00 – 2:00 PM at Ridout's Valley Chapel, in Homewood followed by services at 2:00 PM. Friends are invited to visit with family at a reception at Valley Chapel following the service. Family burial will be at Green Lawn Cemetery in Roswell, Georgia
