Rebecca Dianne Long, 77, widow of Carl “C. J.” Long, Jr., of Summerville, SC passed away Friday, May 22, 2015 at Roper St. Francis hospital.

Visitation will be Monday evening from 5 to 7 o’clock at Parks Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon, May 26, 2015 at Summerville Baptist Church at 1 o’clock. Interment will follow in Summerville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Summerville Baptist Church, 417 Central Ave, Summerville, SC 29483 or Meals on Wheels, P. O. Box 592, Summerville, SC 29484.

Mrs. Long was born in Mullins, SC a daughter of William A. Buck, Sr. and Jeanne Bethea Buck. She was retired from teaching at Pinewood and Spann Elementary Schools, and was a member of Summerville Baptist Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Pixie Long Wheat and her husband Buck of North Charleston; two sons, Kenny Long of Isle of Palms, and Larry Long and his wife Jennifer of Summerville; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two sisters, Narcia Carver and Andrea Richards, both of Fayetteville, NC; and her sweet little dog, Lilly.
