Mr. Bartell was a courageous young man with a great laugh who playfully teased those he loved. Outgoing and friendly, he overcame his asthma challenges and actively participated in sports through four-wheel driving; BMX racing, weight lifting, soccer and rugby. Cars and bikes fascinated Mr. Bartell and for the past year he worked as a mechanic at Les Schwab Tires. To his family he will be remembered for his kindness, love and enjoyment of life.
He is survived by his parents, Earl and Jan Bartell, his grandparents, JoAnn Crossman, John Bartell, Jack Starnes and his sister, Jennifer Bartell.
A viewing will be held on May 31 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Green Valley Mortuary. Services will be conducted on June 1 at 11 a.m. at Green Valley Mortuary."
