Opal Pearl Mauldin passed away peacefully on May 23, 2015 in Calvin, Oklahoma. She was born on December 1, 1921 in Oak Grove, Oklahoma to James and Dora Mae (Bear) Fleming. Opal had 11 siblings all of whom precede her in death. She attended Oak Grove School. Opal married Ernest “Stick” D. Mauldin in August 1962 at the Methodist Church of Calvin. She worked as the Assistant Treasurer of Hughes County until her retirement. Opal enjoyed playing moon at the Senior Citizens Center, listening to music, and dancing up until a week ago. She is also preceded in death by her parents, husband, step-sons Rick Mauldin and David Mauldin.
