In memory of Phillip, the son of Edward Anthony and Athalie Helen Finnan Theriot. Phillip was born in Jacksonville, Florida, but his parent's were from Louisiana and returned to New Orleans when he was 5 years old. He graduated from John F. Kennedy High School prior to enlisting with the Army in October, 1968.
When Phillip arrived in Vietnam 8 April 1969, he was assigned to A Company, 3rd Battalion, 22nd Infantry, 25th Infantry Division, USARV.
He was killed while on patrol near the Cambodian border. Phillip and his father are buried at Lake Lawn. His mother had moved to California following the death of Edward and may be buried there.
