Helen M. Schultz, nee Fish, passed away from this earth at her home to be with her Lord Jesus on May 24, 2015. Helen was born to her parents, Albert and Judith (Friland) Fish in Fedora, SD on August 24, 1917 and raised on a farm in Fedora. She graduated from Fedora High School. After graduating from Teacher's College in Madison, SD, Helen taught school on the Sioux reservation in the pocket, near rural Pierre, SD and Lutheran Orphanages and schools in Addison, IL. She also taught at Whiteriver East Fork and Lutheran Apache Reservation in Arizona. She later worked at Lake to Lake Cheese in Kiel, WI. On October 28, 1943 Helen married Rev. Adalbert Schultz in Whiteriver, AZ. Her husband preceded her in death on September 22, 2007. The couple made their home in Whiteriver, AZ, Monroe, MI, Hale, MI, West Allis, WI and Louis Corners, WI. After retirement they moved to Howards Grove, WI. She was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Howards Grove. Helen was a wonderful Christian mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and little children. She also enjoyed gardening fruits, vegetables and flowers. Survivors include her seven children: Judith (Richard) Tonak, Lakeville, MN, Frederick (Barbara) Schultz, New Franken, WI, Myra (David) Heling, Howards Grove, Martha (David) Yonke, Sheboygan, Lydia (William) Bitter, Ripon, Edward (Anne) Schultz, Austin, TX and Laura (Kevin) Behnke, Kaukauna, WI. She is further survived by 22 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, one brother, Howard Fish, Howard, SD, numerous nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Adalbert, one infant son, Theodore, two brothers, one sister, three granddaughters and two great granddaughters. A celebration of Helen's life will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, May 30, 2015 at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 441 Millersville Ave., Howards Grove with Rev. Tom Unke officiating. Burial will take place in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Louis Corners. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:00 am on Saturday until the time of service. A memorial fund will be established in her name.
