Marjorie was born April 7, 1922 in Altonah, Duchesne County to George Albert Behunin and Mary Jane Biddlecome Behunin. She was the tenth of eleven children. Marjorie grew up as a beautiful red head with freckles although she never much liked her freckles.

She married Robert Hugh Biggs on April 23, 1938; later solemnized in the Manti Temple.

She was skilled in needlework, crocheting, knitting, and quilting. She made most of her own clothes, as well as those of her two children, Gwen and Richard. She was a masterful gardener and her yards were a showcase of beauty.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her beautiful crochet work adorns the altars of several temples.

Marjorie lived through the depression as a young wife to Robert, and as a mother, so being resourceful and frugal was part of her life. She was a caregiver and always put her own needs behind those of others.

She is survived by her sister and best friend, Nina Mae Goodrich; her son, Richard Biggs, and wife, Teresa; three grandchildren, Sherrie Ingalls, Rodney Biggs, and Travis Coon; three great-grandchildren, Jace and Raimee Coon and Shannon Coon; and one great-great-granddaughter, Nora. She is preceded in death by her parents, nine siblings, husband, Robert Hugh Biggs; and daughter, Jessie Gwendolyn Biggs.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley Mortuary, 1007 West South Jordan Parkway, (10600 South), with a viewing prior from 9:30-10;:45 a.m.
Interment will be held at 2:30 p.m. in the Mountain View Cemetery, Helper.
