Anita, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, died on June 18th, 2007 in Winton, CA. She was 71.
Born Anita Lorene Allen in Fairview, OK in 1935, she moved to California at age 6. Before graduating from Livingston High, she was courted by and married Daniel Baldridge, of Winton, in august of 1953. They were married for 53 wonderful years of race cars and family.
Anita's life was devoted to her family. As a military spouse and mom, she enjoyed living in many parts of the country. For 20+ years she was a teacher's aide in the Winton and Atwater School Districts. Anita was foster mother to many at-risk children and was a proud charter member of the Winton VFW woman's auxiliary. She loved and adopted many animals. In her later years she enjoyed crossword puzzles, movies, emailing and celebrating birthdays and holidays. she will be missed by all who knew her.
Anita's strong family values and traditions will be carried on by her loving husband Daniel and their children: Daniel Jr.;Kathy; Marilyn; Sally; Karen; Lori; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren and Missy, her Dalmatian.
Graveside services were held Friday, June 22, 2007 at 10 a.m. at Winton District Cemetery.
