CLAREMORE, Okla. — Services for Velma Lee Liner, 92, of Chelsea, Okla., are set for 10 a.m. Saturday at Memorial Heights Baptist Church in Claremore. The Rev. Paul Simpson will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 6 p.m. Friday, with the family present from 4 to 6 p.m., at Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Funeral Service and Crematory in Claremore. Mrs. Liner died Monday at Colonial Care Center in Chelsea. She was born in Kurten. She was a homemaker and volunteered for Meals on Wheels for many years. Mrs. Liner was a member of Memorial Heights Baptist Church and the Rogers County Association for Family and Community Education. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ruben Liner. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Ruben Jr. and Jo Ann Liner of Fayetteville, Ark.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Memorial Heights Baptist Church in Claremore.
